Cost of wood burning fireplace installation — Peoria, IL

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final bill for a wood fireplace depends on several moving parts. Choosing between a simple pre-fabricated insert and a custom-built masonry hearth changes labor costs significantly. You also need to consider the condition of your existing chimney; if it needs a new liner or structural repairs to meet local safety codes, that adds to the total. Efficiency ratings and the finish materials you select—like stone, brick, or high-end metal trim—also influence the investment required for your home. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

Getting your fireplace ready during the off-season means you will be prepared the moment the first chilly evening arrives.
